Tinisha and I found this kitty the other day on the street. Her name is Mouse. We were gonna leave her at the shelter today, but they wouldn't take her. They were full up. She's staying here for now, til I can find her a new home.

Peeling paint on a metal-sided house that was, surprisingly, still inhabited. The trees and the bushes were grown up to the gutters and the grass was knee high. Tinisha and I could hear a television running inside.
